The InfoMan Experiment…

4 05 2007

I teach the Information Management course (MCS*2020) at the University of Guelph… or InfoMan as the cool kids say. Last year, I used WebCT to help manage the course. It worked great from an administrative point of view (which is exactly what you’d expect from a system designed for faculty); however, I felt it lacked a little… um… personality. This blog will not replace WebCT’s role in my course (students still need their grades), but it should provide a forum beyond the classroom where we can discuss information issues. The blog will take shape over the summer with a few postings, but will really ramp up in September when the students return. Stay tuned… it should be fun.
