MCS*2000 textbook refers to these social networking sites as part of “the informal Grapevine”. Whether it be in cyberspace or by the coffee machine employees gossip and spread information. However, I think they should probably ban Facebook because there would be much more informal talk then work related talk. But then again, if you really want to be on Facebook you will do it through your Blackberry or iPhone…

“We haven’t been burned yet”. I think students care less about privacy because we have no image to uphold. Once we are professionals, managers, parents, teachers etc. We will care more about the information we put on networking sites such as Facebook. There are some pictures on Facebook that say 10-15 years down the road I would not be proud of if my kids found them.

Right, but McDonald’s new look is trendy and comfortable… They seem to have lost focus, or changed it anyways. I’m not sure if all Micky D’s have been “upgraded” but the one I go to is more comfortable now.

Maybe too many drive thru customers makes the interior feel empty/lonely, so they’re trying to fill it up again.

The only reason anyone should be involved with Geek Squad is extended warranties: it maybe a ripoff, but from what I understand its not hard to rip them off and get a new computer!
