Yesterday, YouTube removed a video of a fight between two teenage girls from Nanaimo, BC. The video clip included two girls squaring off with dozens of spectators cheering them on (isn’t mob mentality great?). Apparently, within this particular peer group posting these “records of intimidation” improves the fighters’ reputation for toughness. Someone should have pointed out to these Million Dollar Baby wannabes that YouTube is a freely available website – and that means that the police also have access to these videos.
